Not quite sure why the #houseplant 🌱 people haven't discovered coelus amboinicus yet... it was classified until a few years ago as Plectranthus amboinicus. And should not be confused with Plectranthus tomentosa. But it's fast growing, can be bonsai-ed cutely, and is tolerant to over/under/watering.

The orchid leaves have been cut back where they were damaged. A thick flower stem comes up and over the plant and splits into two. Many large white flowers are in various stages of blooming along the stem.

If you do like me and leave your orchids in the front seat of a UHaul in the summer sun, and the leaves die at the ends... don't throw it away. I was so tempted to and I'm so glad I didn't because look at this beauty now! What a thick stem with large gorgeous flowers 😍
