Polka dots seem to elevate any garment to a more playful level. This 1947 Dior dress would be more serious in plain green but the addition of a white spot just gives it a little lift, the hint of a cheeky smile perhaps. Love its drapery! #VandA #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡
