A perfect copy of a person.

But his mind was warped, his true intent to draw the vulnerable into his dark world.

Nathan hated dealing with bugs for as long as he could remember. Maybe it was a phobia stemmed from being locked in an attic as a child. He remembered the silken pods attached to the walls dripping a clear mucus. the thing inside was trying to get out.

Giants rose along the coast, not kind enough to work for the lords who paid the watchmen. So lords built giant robot watchmen to blind them.
Kindness doesn't trample blindly, they figured.
The giants moved to the ocean and were called sea monsters, waterproof at that.
