Not quite sure why the #houseplant 🌱 people haven't discovered coelus amboinicus yet... it was classified until a few years ago as Plectranthus amboinicus. And should not be confused with Plectranthus tomentosa. But it's fast growing, can be bonsai-ed cutely, and is tolerant to over/under/watering.

Many large white flowers are in various stages of blooming along the stem.
Same as the first but a top view. The leaves are clearer and more buds are apart along the stem.
If you do like me and leave your orchids in the front seat of a UHaul in the summer sun, and the leaves die at the ends... don't throw it away. I was so tempted to and I'm so glad I didn't because look at this beauty now! What a thick stem with large gorgeous flowers 😍

Before of the succulent bowl This is a bowl from the dollar store and doesn't have drainage, I find it works great! I just water infrequently and everything is thriving Note, I did this right after potting up all those dahlias, I know it's a huge mess
After of cutting down and poping that big succulent down into the soil It will sprout roots and do well, and it's less in the way of the fuzzy succulent in the back Added some stones for fun I don't know what anything in this pot is properly called except the trailing plant in the front is a string of bananas off my bigger plant Ob & the bright green trio is dragon fruit

A Mammillaria plumosa flowering in January 2025. This is an unusual form with large heads that don't offset often. It also doesn't flower often under my conditions. The flowers aren't very spectacular anyway but it does flower in winter.
