Abstract long exposure of nighttime traffic on Interstate 80 near Coralville, Iowa. During the exposure the camera was intentionally shaken. Instead of just streaks of light from cars and trucks and dots for stationary sources, this creates patterns of light like squiggles and sinusoidal waves. The colors of light are distinct for each light source and include all colors of the rainbow and white light. The photo was taken near an off ramp in the left frame which is lit from above with a light streak from a car exiting the highway. Informational highways signs are present but out of focus due to the intentional camera shake. On the far side of the interstate there is a semi-truck that has a circular light pattern on the back end of the trailer. During the long exposure the ring of light spreads out into a tunnel of light that starts out smooth are become more uneven as the camera was shaken.
