A brightly coloured nebula that resembles a fish head. The nebula comprises of gold, brown, cyan and darker areas and is speckled with hundreds of stars. This nebula is 6000 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia

This is my version of #IC1795 known as the Fish Head Nebula. Imaged with an Atik 383L+ mono cam and MN190 scope. Spent most of Jan 2022 on this, and have tried processing it several times. This is 17 hours H-alpha, 15 hours [OIII], 10 hours [SII] #astrophotography #nebula #space #thephotohour
