Lisbet Norris is out of Galena and headed for Nulato. Unless I mathed very wrongly, she did not compete her 8 over layover, instead resting only about 6 hours. She'll still have to take her 8 hour at Nulato for Kaltag. #Iditarod50
And Brent Sass is out of White Mountain and off to Nome, just 77 miles away. He's run one hell of a race so far and I'm rooting for him to finish it off. #Iditarod50

Just watched Jeff King's video at Rainy Pass (I think) and he says he's going to take it very easy at least to Ruby, mostly for him because he doesn't want to burn out early. So, expect Jeff to be towards the back of the pack for at least the first half. #Iditarod50
Also, just realized that Brent Sass is not actually camped on the trail just outside of Rohn, instead he apparently has a bad tracker. The standings show him in and out of Rohn over 12 hours ago. I'd expect him to be showing up in Nikolai sometime in the near future. #Iditarod50
And as always happens with these recaps, I get something wrong. Dallas Seavey was not resting on the trail after all. I just caught is tracker at the wrong moment. He's running with Michelle Phillips, 9 miles from Nikolai. #Iditarod50

In the back of the pack, Jeff King took a long rest at Rainy Pass and is now headed for Rohn along with 5 other mushers who all left Rainy Pass pretty close together. Apayauk is still in Rainy Pass having arrived about 7 hours ago. #Iditarod50
Good morning! Just a quick check of the race to see that Aaron Burmeister is the leader on the trail with Ryan Redington not far behind him. Multiple teams are on the trail to Nikolai as well, so again we don't really know where everyone stands until the 24s start. #Iditarod50
