This is a weird headline. The candidate who got the most votes (in the 2026 Dem primaryfor the #IL07 US House seat) in Forest Park was... La Shawn Ford. Rory Hoskins has been Mayor of Forest Park since 2019. Ford beat Hoskins in FP by 13 votes.

This is why I will never use gambling/"prediction market" sites for serious political analysis. The prediction markets got it way wrong regarding the #ILSen, #IL02, and #IL07 primaries (the large swings towards the winning candidates were as actual election results were being reported).
The Republican nominee is an 88 year old guy from a completely different part of Illinois. He has lost a string of elections. Frankly, it's an embarrassment to GOP that he won the primary.
And the GOP candidate for Gov will hurt them in #IL07 .
