There's two major versions of SunOS, one BSD-based & one SysV-based (which did support 64-bit hardware).

#OmniOS #Illumos crashing during the installation. Right after the Updating Boot Archive message.
Not memory issue - tested on two devices (on the same SSD).
Most likely an issue with `bootadm` not being able to properly format the SSD which had #FreeBSD on #ZFS installed before.
