Blue eyed him back, noticing something flutter in Red’s own code that shouldn’t be there. Too unstable, ethereal. He, recognized that type of code. Blue narrowed his sockets at the other, seeing Red stilling slightly. Blue spoke lowly. “Red, what did you do while we were on break?” As the words left him, the Swap could see a flash of fuchsia that didn’t bode well to Blue in the slightest. He knew the other understood his Spanish well enough when he spoke it a bit more slowly and clearly, so he knew Red couldn’t just play dumb under his gaze. His friend gulped, wringing his hands. Oh he definitely pulled something while he wasn’t looking, oh by the stars- “Ya agreed it’d be fine if I went on my own trying somethin’ stupid. Focus on Dream first, whatever he’s got goin’ on right now is more prevalent. He may not be willing to tell us about it if he calms down on their own first.” Blue scrunched their face skeptically at the other, but sighed mumbling in agreement as the voices focusing in swarmed about. The creators reassuring them both that that was indeed the better move right now. As much as Blue hated to admit it, Red was probably right about Dream. He quickly pointed with his free hand to the Fell to stop his buddy in his tracks before he just ran off.
