I'm the same. They often are either extremely violent or i don't get the comedy or they are beautiful romance with traumatical tragedy at the end...
I can recommend #kmovie #Uprising though. It us violent and sad but with HE and with really interesting historical background.

Absolutely brilliant. Lee Byung Hun and Son Ye Jin gave amazing performances. Lee Sung Min and Yeom Hye Ran shined in their roles. Stunning cinematography; visually beautiful but also deliberate. The dark humor was perfect; often so absurd that you have to laugh. 10/10.
