#QueenCharlotte, wife of #KingGeorgeIII, died sitting in her chair in her suite at #KewPalace on 17th November 1818. She was disappointed in her sons (no legal heirs) and in her husband who had gone mad. She’s a key character in my book, Prince George & Master Frederick #historicalfiction

Kew Palace is a British royal palace within the grounds of Kew Gardens on the banks of the River Thames. Originally a large complex, few elements of it survive. Dating to 1631 but built atop the undercroft of an earlier building, the main survivor is known as the Dutch House
