A striking four-story red brick historic building, Kew Palace, is framed by an ornate stone well-head in the foreground. The well features a decorative blue and gold wrought-iron arch. The palace has symmetrical white-framed windows and sits behind low, perfectly manicured green box hedges under a soft, overcast sky. Captured by UK travel blogger Anamika Chattopadhyaya for her blog Everything Enchanting.

The royal salon at 18th century #KewPalace, southwestern #London.
The furnishings interpret #QueenCharlotte's penchant for #cardgames (and ruminations on what passed for♀️rights) whilst passing the time at what was the family's rural residence.

#QueenCharlotte, wife of #KingGeorgeIII, died sitting in her chair in her suite at #KewPalace on 17th November 1818. She was disappointed in her sons (no legal heirs) and in her husband who had gone mad. She’s a key character in my book, Prince George & Master Frederick #historicalfiction

Kew Palace is a British royal palace within the grounds of Kew Gardens on the banks of the River Thames. Originally a large complex, few elements of it survive. Dating to 1631 but built atop the undercroft of an earlier building, the main survivor is known as the Dutch House
