If you’re from the North East, then this may well have the first London station you ever arrived at, it was for me. I still adore the place, and it certainly looks better now than it did way back then. It still retains acceptable traction too, for now at least!

Photo taken inside the main concourse of King's Cross station. It's a large, modern space with a domed roof, adjoining the historic yellow-brick station building that we can see through glass panels in the wall behind the row of train departure screens. In the left foreground, a Christmas tree is decorated cheerfully with lights and coloured baubles. Beyond the tree, people are seated waiting or trains; they are wearing winter clothes and some people have wheely suitcases in cheerful colours.
On the subject of trees: a cheerful picture to make up for the weather!
King's Cross #KGX looking lovely last weekend.
