☕🧈🎄🌟Ul'dah starlight kinderpunsch🌟🎄🧈☕ Ingredients: 1 gallon water 1.5 cup sugar 1 cup of evaporated milk Black tea bags (I used Celestial Seasonings: gingerbread spice (2), nutcracker sweet (2), & a few generic black tea bags (4) 1/2 stick of salted butter Spices: 2 cinnamon sticks, A handful of star anise, and about a tablespoon of allspice. **Secret ingredient: 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract & 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract. Instructions: 1.) In a tall stock pot filled about a fourth full of water add the tea bags and allow to simmer on medium high heat till a very strong tea is brewed (5 -10 min) (try to avoid boiling). Once the tea is good and strong remove the tea bags and squeeze all the excess liquid back into the pot. 2.) add the sugar and stir in until it dissolves **You can actually do this while the tea is brewing to save time. 3.) add half a stick of salted butter (It is helpful to cut it up into smaller hunks so it melts faster but it doesn't really matter) 4.) add the spices: cinnamon, star anise, & and allspice. 5.) add enough water to bring it up to volume (I think I made roughly a gallon...) 6.) while the mixture is a little cooler from adding the water, add a cup of evaporated milk and stir in. 7.) allow to simmer for about 30 minutes minimum The longer you let it simmer on low the more *kick* the spices will have... 8.) **add the secret ingredient... About a half teaspoon each of vanilla extract and almond extract. I add it at this step because I think the flavors cook off if you add them too early in the process... 🎄🍎🌟 Gridanian Starlight Kinderpunsch 🌟🍎🎄 Ingredients: 4 Celestial Seasonings Sugar cookie sleigh ride tea bags 2 large apples (sliced & de-seeded) 1.5 cups of fresh cranberries 3 cups sour cherry juice 1 cup muscadine juice *secret ingredient* 1.5 cups sugar 2 cinnamon sticks 1 tbsp cloves (use a mesh tea ball) Instructions: 1.) fill large stock pot about 1/4 full of water set medium high to brew the 4 tea bags and brew until the tea is good & strong then remove the tea bags. *Tips: slice the apples while the tea is brewing & Slice the apples laterally so that you can see the star in the middle at the core where the seeds are* 2.) dissolve the sugar into the hot tea. 3.) add all the other ingredients and spices. 4.) add enough water to almost fill the stock pot and then allow to simmer for 30 minutes minimum, longer is better if you want the spices to have more kick. 5.) after 30 minutes or once the apples and cranberries are cooked through and soft, strain out the solid ingredients from the punch *If you want you can mash the apples and cranberries to eat or make into a pie (They would be very good with butter and brown sugar🤤)* 6.) Taste test to see if it needs any more sugar or a little more cherry juice or muscadine juice. It should be a deep reddish color and somewhat opaque. Serve hot or cold and enjoy 😋🎄🌟🍎
🌟🎄🍊 Lominsan Starlight Kinderpunsch🍊🎄🌟 Ingredients: 2 bags Celestial Seasonings Sugar cookie sleigh ride tea 2 bags Constant Comment tea 1.5 ~2 cups sugar...(to taste) 1 can frozen lemonade 1 can frozen orange juice (with pulp is best) 2 large oranges or 4 small oranges (sliced) 1 lemon (sliced) 1 lime (sliced) 2 cups black seedless grapes (sliced in half) 2 cinnamon sticks 1 tbsp of cloves 1 tbsp of allspice *A few sprigs of fresh mint leaves (If possible) **Secret ingredient** 2 tbsp honey (or to taste) Instructions: 1.) In a large stock pot filled 1/4 with water, at medium high heat (but try to avoid letting it boil), steep the tea bags until the tea is good and strong (5~10 min). 2.) Dissolve sugar into the hot tea. Reduce heat to The low side of medium. 3.) Add the frozen lemonade and frozen orange juice mix and make sure they melt and are incorporated into the hot tea. 4.) Add in all the fruit and spices. The citrus fruits should be sliced somewhat thinly and laterally, The grapes sliced once longitudinally. And the spices can be added directly into the pot (No need for a mesh Tea ball in this recipe). Don't forget the mint . 5.) Add enough water to bring the pot up to the desired volume. (It's important to add water after all the ingredients are added to keep the pot from overflowing.) 6.) Let the punch simmer on medium low for about 30 minutes... Though if you let it go a bit longer the flavors will be stronger. 7.) Use a mesh strainer to scoop out all of the fruit and spices from the punch and discard (or move into a simmer pot on a back eye to make the house smell good). 8.) Once everything is scooped out, taste test and add in the secret ingredient (local honey is best) The citrus peels can make it a bit bitter... but the honey will help balance the bitterness. It will also add a little body to the punch. 9.) Serve and enjoy. It looks very nice with an orange slice floating in the teacup. 😁🍊🎄🌟
