Stone breathes in its sleep, the pond keeps her quiet lore — evening softens all. Stone, time, ripples. The Tsaritsyno Sphinx — part of the wharf reconstructed in 2006–2007 near the Upper Tsaritsyno Pond. There are two sphinxes – this is the one facing the water, not the footpath. The sculptures were created by Moscow artist Alexander A. Pirogov and have become one of the park’s signature details.
