Fewer people know that Germany has already experienced this before. WHO CARED records the life stories of people who came to Germany as carers and brings them to the public's attention. Without them, the care sector would not have functioned in many places, nor would it function today. 🗣⚕️⚙️ Would you like to learn more about care migration? Then come with us and visit the event together. 💡🤝 A nurse who helped a distant country in need and stayed. A mother who tells her son about a journey that never ended. And a society that knows little about it, but repeats much. The online archive WHO CARED records the life stories of people who came here to work in nursing. The current focus is on nurses who came to Germany from Kerala in southern India. Dass Deutschland das alles schon mal erlebt hat, weniger. WHO CARED hält die Lebensgeschichten der Menschen, die als Pflegekräfte nach Deutschland kamen, fest und bringt sie in die Öffentlichkeit. Ohne sie hätte der Pflegesektor vielerorts nicht funktioniert / würde er auch heute nicht funktionieren. 🗣⚕️⚙️ Möchtet ihr auch mehr über Care-Migration lernen? Dann kommt mit und besucht mit uns gemeinsam die Veranstaltung. 💡🤝 Eine Krankenschwester, die einem entfernten Land aus der Not half und blieb. Eine Mutter, die ihrem Sohn von einer Reise erzählt, die nie endete. Und eine Gesellschaft, die wenig davon weiß, aber vieles wiederholt. Das Online-Archiv WHO CARED hält die Lebensgeschichten der Menschen fest, die herkamen, um in der Pflege zu arbeiten. Der aktuelle Fokus liegt auf Krankenschwestern, die aus dem südindischen Kerala nach Deutschland kamen.
