Meta-selfie...or “cell-fie.” The yeast growing on this plate smell strongly of sour apple and flowers. It may be that these aromas are produced to attract insects that act as ‘yeast airplanes.’ I guess that makes me the insect in this photo. #yeast #labselfie #beer #sourapple
