I confess - it had slipped my mind that it was World Wetlands Day. I did happen to spend some time at a wetland though: Lake Eppalock.

A lack of rainfall and evaporation was evident with a lower water level. Pelicans and Caspian Terns did well to gracefully fly through crazy winds. #lakeeppalock
