Blue sky, rocky terrain leading up to the snow covered tops of Crinkle Crags in the Langdale Valley in the Lake District. Sun was shining at this point in time but changed very quickly to sleet and snow the higher we climbed. Two tired dogs at the end of the day

Blea Tarn like a mirror with the hills reflected perfectly in the surface - sky is blue and a rock breaks the water in the foreground. Frost is still In the shadows and the rest is bathed in winter sunshine making the yellows and oranges of the Hills sing.

Evening view towards Langdale Pikes - the sun has started to set so the foreground is dark. A track leads through the picture with the mountains in the background. Clouds are in the sky and there is still some brightness from the setting sun. A winter tree is in silhouette to the right of the image.

This place ❤️. Calms my soul and fills me with joy and contentment.
