A winter image taken on the shore of Blea Tarn in the Lake District. The icy tarn fills the bottom third, above it are the craggy low hills, orange and brown in colour. Beyond them we see the majestic Langdale Pikes with a sprinkling of snow and the snow laden skies above them. It was evening which give the image a cool blue feel, well to be fair it was cool in fact pretty chilly! A wonderful place to visit at anytime but winter conditions provide that extra bit of magic ❄️
