A low angle shot of a set of tall double doors painted a bold, bright red. The doors are housed within a recessed Gothic-style arch made of light-colored stone blocks. Above the doors, a large arched transom window features intricate stone tracery and leaded glass panes. Each door contains three vertical narrow windows with diamond-patterned leaded glass. The number 125 is vertically mounted on the right door. A white handwritten sign is taped to the center of the doors indicating the wedding rehearsal guests' entrance, positioned below an automatic door caution sticker and a blue handicap accessibility symbol. The warm lighting casts soft shadows across the textured stone and the glossy surface of the red paint.

On the right is the same pattern but this time in coloured glass of ruby red, royal blue and a deep yellow amber. Out through the clear glass you can see a pale view of the building's traditionally Tudor black and white exterior. Wonderful day out in the sunshine at the spectacular Tudor Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire.

Photograph taken looking along the deep oak windowsill of a long row of leaded glass windows at Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire. The Tudor hall was built in stages between 1504 - 1610. Image was taken in a room off the Long Gallery on the top most layer of the property. Monochrome filter used to focus on the shadows and pattern. Thick wood-framed windows, all tall rectangles, filled with clear leaded glass in a repeating pattern of diamond, lozenge and rectangle shapes. The windows are three layers tall and many more wide (only some caught in the image). Sunlight has created amazing shadow patterns on the wide windowsill from the leaded glass. The windowsill has been made with two oak boards for depth. Wonderful property to visit and run very well by the National Trust.

Photograph taken looking out through leaded glass to the ageing facade of the wonderful C14th Tudor manor house of Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire. House is timber construction and has the classic Tudor flower-like shapes called quatrefoils, here in a mixture of good and decaying states. Behind me (out of shot) is the entrance to a priest hole and one of the more spooky areas of the house. Well worth a visit but wrap up if going in winter...chilled to the bone!
