Long before he was shot in the head, Cadmus was sent to infiltrate and assess the White Gloves for initiation into the Legion/allies to the Legion, and has a membership with them (but he never got to the actual cannibalism part, thankfully...but in the Legion AU, he kind of did get to that stage and they actually do become Legion allies)

At the time he took care of most of the White Glove Society, Cadmus was dealing with Med-X withdrawals, and given its similarity to heroin/morphine, I did a bunch of research and found out detoxing from opiates can take weeks to recover from 🫠
