to be fair he reacted appropriately to a threat but he's also legit surrounded by idiots during this arc (except Veronica, who is the voice of reason during this one and feels bad for him)

he still doesn't like Cadmus but he definitely understands him a bit better...but it was a hell of a mindfuck for him

he wears the sunglasses when he has a migraine because his eyes are fairly sensitive to light due to his night vision

Arcade is better at cutting hair than Cadmus is, so he does their haircuts, but after returning to the Mojave, Cadmus gets sick again, and also goes through a period of not caring how he looks/not liking people touching him

Cadmus grew out his hair after falling sick again during his return to the Mojave with Arcade, and he doesn't really know how to take care of such wavy, thick hair, given that they didn't allow long hair in the Legion 🤷

Long before he was shot in the head, Cadmus was sent to infiltrate and assess the White Gloves for initiation into the Legion/allies to the Legion, and has a membership with them (but he never got to the actual cannibalism part, thankfully...but in the Legion AU, he kind of did get to that stage and they actually do become Legion allies)

At the time he took care of most of the White Glove Society, Cadmus was dealing with Med-X withdrawals, and given its similarity to heroin/morphine, I did a bunch of research and found out detoxing from opiates can take weeks to recover from 🫠

They first met when Cadmus literally collapsed at Trading Post 188, due to a mix of withdrawals and dehydration, and even though he told her right away what he was (ex-legion) she was just like 'oh well I' ll be watching you', but he's smaller than her so she isn't concerned And then she realizes, like Arcade, that Cadmus is a deeply wounded human being who needs a friend, and she likes him despite his past He also gave her that Saturnite Power Fist as a gift for helping him, along with a dress Also she sort of trained him out of saying stupid/misogynistic shit by smacking him upside the head (without the powerfist, obviously lol) almost every he said or did something stupid, but not like, in a brutal fashion, just in a 'you're smarter than this, dumbass' kind of way 😆 All in all they're good friends and I really like their friendship

Cadmus and Veronica are also going on a little field trip to find the BoS and also punch any Legionaries they might find
