doedicurus clavicaudatus, a very large species of extinct armadillo belonging to the still extant family, chlamyphoridae. depicted with pale skin and some white hair on its underside. it is a glyptodont, belonging to the glyptodontinae subfamily. notable for its spiked, clubbed tail. like other glyptodonts, its head was large, round, and blunt, and it had a large, unbanded carapace.

harpagolestes immanis, a mesonychian mesonychid, an early hoofed carnivore. notable for its large size, comparable to a grey wolf. depicted with mottled grey fur and a long, dog-like tail. mesonychians were fairly dog-like creatures with five digits on each foot, but each digit had a small hoof to improve speed and endurance, therefore sacrificing the ability to grapple with prey and instead enlarging the skulls to house strong muscles associated with bite force.

leptictidium auderiense, a small animal somewhat resembling a bipedal, hopping elephant shrew. it is depicted with brown fur and lighter spots and stripes along the back, and a long, tufted tail. it has a long snout. while the morphology of its leg bones appear built for hopping like a kangaroo, it may not have been able to withstand the stress on the legs for long and possibly would locomote by bipedal running more often, similar to birds and theropod dinosaurs, though it may have hopped occasionally to increase speed. it is considered to have belonged to a group outside of but closely related to placentals.

didelphodon vorax, an early mammal resembling a sort of opossum-otter cross that lived in the mesozoic era alongside dinosaurs. it is depicted with dark brown fur. recent analysis indicates some aquatic behaviors. it was large for a mesozoic mammal, slightly larger than a virginia opossum. despite its name, it is not an opossum, but it is a metatherian related to marsupials.
