#FangYilun in #LesBelles. This man charmed me with his cunning ways and smarts, delivering one of the best ML in a historical romcom this year. The journey he went through was really fun, full of emotion, witty comebacks and even delivered some incredible action scenes.

Day 21: Surprise drama.

Both aren't dramas I usually gravitate to, but I ended up really enjoying them. The highlight of SL was definitely the chemistry between Song Yi & Cheng Lei. And LB was the perfect drama to watch at a time when I needed something lighthearted.

Such a great surprise at the end of the year!
And i agree with #LesBelles.
I started with no information or expectations and it was so.much fun!

It was such a hoot watching #LesBelles with a group of like-minded enthusiasts! - definitely one of the highlights of my drama year ☺️

How much fun I had watching #LesBelles! This historical #cdrama is one the most entertaining stories from this year, it uses all the tropes with a fresh & charming twist.

The cast has PERFECT chemistry, particularly #LinYun & #FangYilun whom I would love to see together again.

Oh yes, that’s a lovely show - but a very different feel from either #LesBelles or #Fairy&Devil

It sounds like you’ve got enough on your plate

But #LesBelles is definitely worth sticking on when you feel like watching a light historical costume drama with fun romantic pairings 🙂

It’s nice to see #LesBelles & #PerfectMatch mentioned (& #SiJin too), because they were such good shows from earlier in the year - but because of recency bias everyone seems to have forgotten about them

I have such good memories of people’s reactions to the last 2 couples in PM, & of course in LB 😊

luo lingyu in #LesBelles. a total schemer with a sharp, keen mind. sweetly funny, smart, loyal, conniving, observant, kind. for a #cdrama with a very light tone, she’s refreshingly complex and flawed and totally lovable.

I keep telling people this is one of the #cdrama of the year! #LesBelles

Day 2: Favourite New Discovered Actress

I can’t pick only 1 - Sun Zhenni was refreshingly feisty in #TheBlossomingLove; Song Zuer’s character in #ThePrisonerofBeauty was memorable; I loved Zhao Qing’s roles in #LesBelles & #TheImmortalAscension; & Chen Duling was on fire in #TheGlory

I haven't watched anything else but will go and look them up. Especially the one you meant that it's similar to #LesBelles!

The one that turned me into a #HouMingHao fan is the #cdrama #WhenWeWereYoung and #AGirlLikeMe (if you liked #LesBelles, this is your cup of tea). I also recommend #BackFromTheBrink.

I am told #DashingYouth and #FangsOfFortune are really good but I haven’t had the chance to see them.
