I somehow got on #lichensky and couldn't be more surprisedly pleased. I've given lichen only momentary thought when I've thought about them at all. Now I get photos from people all over the world showing beautiful fungi from all over. These photographers have made me appreciate the beauty!

Macrolichens can look fluffier like moss but they're completely different. Lichen do not have roots or absorb water and moss does.
