Cardiff Council acquired this stretch of canal in 1944 & subsequently filling it in to create the current path

In 1908, toddler George Stratton went missing from one of the houses pictured. His body was later found in the canal

Hailey Park bowls green & pavilion, #LlandaffNorth

The green was part of the park's original 1926 design. Pavilion was added after WWII but lost to arson in 2010

The green was landscaped using Old Laundry (itself burned down c.2013) & Andrews Rd sect.106 & pavilion insurance ££ in 2016 #ThenAndNow
