#LTHE One University in the South West did hire a high street shop and its arts students had to run it for their assessment - planning a budget, hanging an exhibition, engaging with customers - great transferable skills for arts students.
A1 I can think of 2 possible meanings - a static one: a unit within HEI responsible for tech provision, implementation and use, and a dynamic one: a competition among HEI for innovation, tech roll out and achieving measurable results

A5. We run on-campus internships where staff can bid for undergraduate research assistants for a few weeks in the summer. This has led to co-authored papers.
We run a similar schemd for education-focused topics.
The poster sessions and lightning talks for both are brilliant!

A4. Just musing here, but with one assessment where I ask students to write a popular geeky magazine article abut the subject, maybe we could do some co-writing in our workshops as part of a formative exercise. #LTHE
Yes, was discussing this earlier with colleagues - we need to ensure that students with different experiences can afford to engage in such activities. #LTHE
When you explicitly try to foster a flat and discursive classroom, you see it really working through the rich and heartfelt conversations, and then the students thank you for creating that kind of pedagogical space...
