My poem called Cyclamens. … I thought we were in love, but you left me all alone, drowning in memories when you said we would dive into unknowns. We grew cyclamens— in the garden that we built to see our roses in full bloom. They’re all gone but one, that chose to wait for love, surrounded by weeds and what once was. Can’t you see me standing on my own… here?
I tried my hand at lyrical poetry and this was the result.
I used the melody from a song called Wind Tempos by Porter Robinson, starting at 3:04-4:10, (in case you all want to listen and read)😉
