This is EXACTLY why #ManagedRetreat is gonna happen one way or another. Way 1 is state and local governments FORCE Managed Retreat. Way 2 is the insurance market simply stops covering these areas. See my thread👇bsky.app/profile/adreanalangston....

That just means people will be leaving California because there are not enough houses for the people who live here NOW. So when #ManagedRetreat comes by the state OR by people not being able to build because no insurer will insure where they want to build - will those people be able to stay in
