Mark Ashton co-founded Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM), forging solidarity between LGBTQ+ activists and striking miners. His activism helped change history. He died of AIDS on 11 Feb 1987, aged 26, but his legacy lives on. When we stand together, we win together. #MarkAshton
