Lovely walk #martindown . Heard turtle dove , fantastic but we need to hear more ! Dark green fritillary, grass snake , cuckoo and greater butterfly orchid and of course so much more .

When I was out on Martin Down earlier in the week, the Gorse seed heads started loudly popping open in the heat.
I knew then that it was too late in the morning to see a basking Adder....
An Adder always like to bask with thorns at it's back & the early morning sun at its front.
