Slice-of-bread shaped shallow bowl, made using a river rock as a slump mold. Mostly creamy white/natural with small pieces of brightly colored nerikomi scraps (porcelain mixed with mason stain and layered/rolled/sliced/inlaid into the white clay). The final glaze coating is crazed/crackled in intricate patterns around the pieces of colored clay, which is interesting visually but makes the dish not food safe.

20 dark clay test tiles. Each tile is 1/2 raw and 1/2 covered in black groggy texture slip. Each has a different shade of all of the colors of the rainbow painted on it in slip. Both one layer and two. With a strip of clear glaze down one end.
Color tests round 1. 😍 2% stain in porcelain slip on dark clay tiles. Planning to test in 2% increments up to 8-10%. Aiming to land on 5 or 6 colors in the end. Currently loving the darker greens. Happy to share stain info.
