Funny you should ask, a handful of characters were mere background support until a brainstorming session with a certain group of writers (including our lovely prompt game host) resulted in those characters becoming very very important to the plot.

I want to see more trans lesbians in romance stories. Obviously they exist in the indie novel scene and there is a few in the indie web comic scene but even those are pretty hard to find especially as leads. I just want more.

To understand each other, to build each other up, to appreciate the flaws and perks. Showing that makes love feel real #maywedance

It made me think a lot about my characters in more detail in order to answer them. I already had them existing in my head, but making myself put it into words solidified a lot of their goals and personalities in a way that me just sitting and brainstorming wouldn't have. Thank you.

What a wonderful month it’s been!
I went into this with my story in very early stages. But now I’m nearly 15K words in, I learned more about my characters by answering the questions, and met some amazing writers. Thank you!
