2 scales of oil rigs made for the movie On Deadly Ground. This 1st smaller 1 was for the beauty shots. The larger model was for pyro and explosions. On both, I made the stairwell, elevators and piping and tiny guages throughout than I care to remember. #miniaturesrule

I made the Town Hall grand staircase in the stop motion movie ParaNorman. The "janky" line quality was the prevailing style for the movie. No straight lines, no round circles, no consistent thicknesses, etc. I made 3 1/2 of these steps for different sets that shot concurrently. #miniaturesrule
The 1/8 scale Deepcore miniature from the movie the Abyss. This was shot "dry for wet". Meaning it was shot on a stage and water effects were added in post. I'm in the gray hoodie doing a weathered wash on it. This and several other models were made at Design Setters, 1988/89. #miniaturesrule
