I saw and met and chatted with so many wonderful brilliant fun people at #MLA2024 and also feel like I saw and met and chatted with about a tenth of the people I’d hoped to.
Just got home from my pre-dawn drive home from MLA, so I'm pouring a second cup of coffee. Had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Learned and a lot and have a lot to chew on. Was also pleased with the work the Delegate Assembly undertook. Until next time #MLA2024.

#MLA2024 For many of us, a big conference like MLA may turn out to be a lonely place unless you are established scholars or still have a close group of colleagues and friends. But it was the first time for me to run into many folks I had met only through zoom during the pandemic. 😍 They were real!
