Worked on the main layout with its "scrolling window"-like structure this morning.
Don't mind the content for now, just placeholders :)

Morgenblau app mockup shown on a MacBook Pro. The interface features a dark top navigation bar with three sections: Discover, Consume (currently active), and Create. A horizontal date scroller shows dates leading to the current date, February 5th. Content filter pills for Longform, Shortform, Podcasts, and Videos sit in the top right. The main content area has a light, minimal background showing a single feed item timestamped at 11:00 from dominikhofer.me titled 'Change of plans' with the subtitle 'I'm building my own RSS reader.' A longform category icon appears to the right of the entry. At the bottom, the Morgenblau logo with the tagline 'Your calm window into the Atmosphere' serves as a footer.
Today, I started to design the overall layout for morgen.blue.
In the process, I discovered this beautiful icon set, which I really like:

Three distinct views of the Atmosphere. A minimal segmented control showing three tabs labeled "Discover," "Consume," and "Create" centered on a soft gray background.
Daily digests instead of an endless list. A horizontal date picker spanning multiple days with the current date highlighted, above four placeholder content cards stacked vertically.
Social layer on top of RSS. A two-panel layout mockup showing a content reading area on the left and a "Marginalia from the Atmosphere" sidebar on the right.
Four first class citizens. Four overlapping content cards representing different media types: a long-form article, a micropost, a video player, and a podcast player with progress bar.
Some core concepts to explore for morgen.blue.
(I'll write a bit more about them in the next newsletter issue.)
