Meanwhile UK #mortgageprisoners still being fleeced 18yrs after collapse of Northern Rock etc with mortgages sold on by UK govt & HM Treasury fully aware of the harm it would do to 250k mortgage holders. Many now reaching end of term & facing homelessness in their 60s despite paying for decades.

No lessons learned. Those affected in 2008/9 deliberately "forgotten" - #MortgagePrisoners - while so many at the top of the pile accumulated even more wealth from those at the bottom.
