Mt Shuksan in northern Washington state stands tall above the snowy slopes and pines as the setting sun casts its orange glow on the peaks.
It’s December 10 and there’s not enough snow on Mt. Baker for the slopes to open yet so here’s an image of Mt. Shuksan from January.

The reflection of the scenic mountain is is close to being a mirror image because the water is still, calm, serene & peaceful. There's still some snow visible which will soon increase as weather changes from Autumn to Winter. Leaves on some trees are falling off, orange in color or many are evergreens, all year.

I may not have been able to get a decent picture of Mt Shuksan, but the climb up to my spot was, as always, beautiful yet pants-shittingly scary.
