If you're counting 16th notes in 4/4, what you're hearing is 2 measures of 3-2 rumba clave followed by me playing eighth note triplets that start on the last 16th of the measure. How would you notate that?#rhythmexercises #musicalnotation #percussion_instrument

I've discovered the "Curlew Pause"! It's a mark invented by Benjamin Britten for his opera "Curlew River" (1964), which is why it looks like a Curlew in flight. I can't find it in unicode (Noto Music has 579 glyphs, but not this one), but maybe one day 🙏🏼 #Typography #MusicalNotation #Symbols
