Muted words on Bluesky is much more effective than TwiX.

(mostly to #educate and never to argue) but I will not let political matters stay in my head on an expired visa. I added " #Trump" and " #MAGA" to my #mutedwords on bluesky and I know from #Instagram that those "muted words" can dramatically improve the way a #socialnetwork looks and feels to you.

They just include the hashtag in Muted Words and Tags in Settings and they'll never see your posts on those topics again.

I follow a simple “guitars” feed on Bluesky and it really is just fine at surfacing a steady stream of guitar posts. The only drawback is that it shows me every skeet about Mel
Gibson (Gibson being a big guitar maker).
I am happy to report that Muted Keywords has fixed the feed for me: #mutedwords

Small reminder to not censor trigger warnings. This is ESPECIALLY important now that we have muted terms.
When you censor a word that is a trigger, or use cutesy TikTok coding you are BYPASSING people's mutes and exposing them to the content your tw/cw is warning about.
