This island has a population of 13 people and 200,000 puffins. I enjoyed a 24 hour visit of hiking with the locals.

This was my view a few days ago on the island of Mykines in the Faroe Islands while hiking among the puffins. The landscape feels like stepping back in time.

I feel so lucky that I was able to visit #Mykines Island AKA #Puffin Island already 3 times this season with my guests for a private tour and we had amazing weather conditions. I’ve heard that many had to cancel last week due to bad weather and it looks like this week will be bad weather too.
So excited to share our family is booked to stay on this tiny basalt island populated by ten people in the Faroe Islands!
