#NACBS at Montreal has been wonderful. I presented here for the first time. Really useful feedback and stimulating panels across the entire program. The presidential address on J.S. Mill's 'family life' was a real treat. Looking forward to coming back to it again.

Great news! I hope... This November I'll be talking about 'J.G. Ballard and the Landscape of Autopia' at #NACBS 2029 in Montreal, Canada. It's part of my 'Britain and the Future' book project, due in (checks notes) 2028/29. Looking forward to it!

#NACBS was wonderful this year! So many good papers and presentations! I loved meeting so many new people and catching up with people from past talks!

Home from an intense weekend at #nacbs under the glorious blue skies of Denver. Superb papers & discussions but I was struck by the paucity of political history, especially post-1800, on the programme (1 panel by my reckoning)

Had a 10/10 first experience with the #nacbs conference ! I appreciate my fellow panel presenters for the amazing panel and the support from our conference guests.

Great panels all weekend. Thank you to the conference committee for putting it all together.

Are any of you lovely people going to be at the #NACBS this weekend? I'll be chairing a panel on the Seventeenth-Century Caribbean in that coveted slot, the last panel on Sunday! Would love to see some of you there.
