In a deep crypt in the Grand Necropolis of Nevarra, Bellara and Fi are greeted by a dashingly dressed person who very much seems to have a green-flaming skull for a head.
Fortunately it was merely an illusion, and our necromancer Emmrich has done away with it by the time Bellara enthusiastically shakes his hand — with both hands!
The recruitment was even more successful than expected, because in addition to Emmrich himself, here in a distinguished vest and shirt and decked out in various mostly golden jewelry, the necromancer also brought his enthusiastic skeleton assistant Manfred. Manfred looks much like an ordinary skeleton except for the goggle-like emerald crystals over his eyes, boots, and the now-empty parts of his torso packed with useful items to carry along. Currently he's enthusiastically offering up a tome of some sort on a tray.

In the Gardens of the Grand Necropolis. It’s eveningtime or at least twilight regardless of the hour, everything cast in the light green hue of the veilfire that provides most of the illumination. There are graves of all kinds from the humble headstone to elaborate family mausoleums. There’s well-kept flora everywhere, mostly in shades of green with white flowers here and there. Emmrich, a distinguished senior gentleman in a dapper purple coat and numerous bands of gold around his forearms and fingers, is already leaving the small clearing that seems to be in front of a headstone we see only a corner of here. Fi, in light armor and her admiral’s hat still on her head, is yet looking over toward the headstones with a small smile.
I never manage to take a picture of the exact moment but one of my favorite human animation details is Rook giving these two graves a small departing nod. And especially that she’s out of Emmrich’s sight by that time.
