Spiral Power, an evolutionary power, resonates quite strongly with both groups of Princesses, albeit in different ways. Princesses of Heart lean more towards “Humans that can extend their lives and access extraordinary power” whilst Princesses of Shadow are more inclined to become full-on Darkstalkers, with all the reality-bending powers that come with that. Nia: "Like a Drill through the Earth, I will power through anything! Nothing will hold me or those I love down!" Killing a Princess of Heart or Shadow was considered a crime by Keyblade Wielders, and even Angels and some Darkstalkers shy away from it or find it unjust. Typically, when killed, the pure Light/Darkness in their Hearts pass to another worthy vessel. That is, unless the Princess musters up enough Spiral Power in their Heart to come back as something else. Kalei the Angel: (Comforting Tessa after her death) "You have a chance, you can go back and change everything. I think you can do it, just gotta try... And maybe while you're at it... That thing that tore your insides out? If you see it, kill it."

Sora, now 10 years older, wakes up, with the mysterious voice in his Heart letting him know someone found him and brought him to civilization. To Sora's delight, it's Simon the Digger, now a grown-up and king of his world. He introduces Sora to Yoko, and gets an eager hug from Sora, as the voice tries to tell Sora something...

Sora wonders if Nia is still around, and Simon (with a cheeky grin) tells Sora that she's nearby. Sora eagerly turns to see her, and is left shocked silent to see Nia, now a grown woman, naked save for Simon's open jacket. Nia and Simon have no issue with this, but have a bit of fun messing with Sora, who just blue screens after ten years of puberty in isolation.

An adult Sora, even after realizing he's slightly more naked than Nia is, succumbs to touch starvation once again and hugs her, to her pleasent surprise. When he reveals he hasn't had physical contact in 10 years, Simon and Nia voice concern...

Simon decides to fix this by pulling the two into a big hug, with Sora getting his face smushed into Nia's chest, to his shock and the couple's amusement (and Yoko's as well)

Nia: I wonder which one is ours. Maybe it's that one, or that one? (Tron looks up, mesmerized by the galaxies above) Sora: Beautiful, isn't it? Tron: Uh... Yeah... What kind of treasure do you think's out there? Sora: A lot! I've found plenty. Not sure why so many worlds just have treasure chests hidden around, but I'm not complaining. Nia: Simon, do you think maybe one day we can make a ship like this and see those other worlds? Simon: (Blushes) Huh? Yeah! Together, we'll pierce the Heavens and see what's beyond! Nia: Nothing out there can stop us! Sora: That's the spirit! Keep on going, don't let any Heartless, Grimm, or anything get you down! Tron: (Pouts) Is that what you tell yourself? While you're wearing that? Sora: Huh?

Tron: That coat, you said the guy who kidnapped your little blonde friend made you wear it! Sora: He said it's supposed to protect me from Darkness. Tron: (Looks at him indignantly) From everything I heard from you, you don't need that stupid thing! Simon: (Excitedly) She's right, Sora, don't let that Marluxia punk decide your limits! Nia: (Also excitedly) Take it off! Tron: (Her face is now red) Don't say it like that- Sora: ... You're all right! (Takes his coat off, tossing it aside) There's a Light in my Heart that'll never go out, no matter how deep into the Darkness I go! Tron: Heh, I like this you better. Simon: That's the spirit, Sora! Sora: (Smiles, then glances at Nia, realizing something) Speaking of Light, Simon, can I ask you something? Simon: Huh? Sora: Nia, I think she might be the very Light of your world. (Simon blushes, misunderstanding Sora's comment) Promise me you'll keep her safe. Simon: S-Sure! I'll do everything I can! Nia: Am I that important? Sora: (Smiles) More than you think. (Tron tugs Sora's arm, annoyed with his words to Nia) Tron: Hey, shouldn't we get back to my planet?
