The pedals overlap each other and have vertical folds and there is a notch at the end of the petal. The leaves vary in size and are arranged in a tangle. They are light to moderate green and have a bold centre vein with diagonal veins coming alternately off it. The edges of the leaves are serrated. There is also tangled brown dead vegetation.

A photo of a cluster of pinky red flowers that are nestled in dark green waxy leaves. The flowers have four petals each and the buds are long and slender. In the centre of each flower a very pale yellow stamens. All the flowers are on long stalks. The cluster has approximately 30 flowers.

Photo of most of my hand, palm up, diagonally across the space. Pinned between my 2nd and 3rd fingers is a stem of Liriope flowers. There stem is almost the length of my hand and is around 3mm thick. In 1.5cm intervals are groups of blooms. Some are only buds while others are open. The whole thing is a light purple with bright yellow stamens. The flowers have 6 petals. In the background grey tiles and also a portion of my dress that is orange, lilac and white patterned.
