Having identified NR1H4/FXR as a putative stellate cell lineage-determining factor repressed in MASH, we tested and found that the #FXR agonist #obeticholicacid (OCA) directly preserved stellate cell quiescence, upheld stimulatory GPCR expression, and repressed of fibrogenesis.
