Really wish I’d liked #OnChesilBeach more. So many strong individual moments for a film that ends up being perplexingly banal from an emotional standpoint. Saoirse Ronan is electrifying, however, and Billy Howle has one undeniably terrific scene. Sadly, it’s just not enough. 😞
