also, happy #fossilfriday! this is my #oreodont skull (Merycoidodon sp.), truly the pride of my collection. despite having no real taxonomic relation to equids, his name is Eeyore; he features prominently in this rather baroque still life i made some years ago (this is a crop of the whole piece).
