Oregon stops issuing temporary commercial licenses to non-residents The move came as the Trump administration threatened to pull millions of dollars in federal highway funds from the state.

Jana Jarvis talking points on this are rather vile and appear to be inaccurate. She's not checked on what she says because well, it's OPB in 2026 :/ So much for the whole story, so much for sticking up for your freight drivers smh. #orpol

AG Rayfield files lawsuit to prevent toxic pollutants

Earlier this week, AG Rayfield and
a multistate coalition filed a lawsuit to prevent toxic pollutants from entering rivers and waterways.

Earlier this week, AG Rayfield and a multistate coalition filed a lawsuit to prevent toxic pollutants from entering rivers and waterways. The Trump administration recently rolled back the 2024 Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) rule — a move that would allow power plants to release more dangerous chemicals like mercury, arsenic, and lead into the environment.

“Oregon families deserve clean water and a federal government that fights for that - not one that gives pollutants a free pass. Mercury poison does not stop at state lines — it travels, deposits in rivers and waterways, and ends up in the fish people eat. Rolling back these protections puts pregnant women, children, and families across Oregon at greater risk.”

ICYMI: We filed a lawsuit earlier this week to keep mercury, arsenic, and lead out of our rivers and waterways.

We are working every day to keep Oregon families safe from pollution. #orpol

There are way better uses for our money than illegal wars since the federal government no longer works for the people nationwide and we would need an overhaul because fascism is literally everywhere and it’s unacceptable, lol!! 😂 #solidarity #orpol

The president does not - and never will - have the power to regulate elections.

This is about control.

He knows his wars and harmful economic policies are unpopular, so he's now trying to control elections.

And we're fighting back. #orpol

AG Rayfield files lawsuit to protect vote-by-mail

“The United States Postal Service has one job: to deliver the mail. President Trump is trying to give it a second one — deciding which Americans get a ballot. That is not the postal service’s role, it is not the federal government’s role, and it is not constitutional. Trump has spent years weaponizing federal agencies to prop up his false story that fraud cost him the 2020 election. He votes by mail. Oregonians vote by mail. And Oregon will keep running its own elections.”

BREAKING NEWS: We filed a lawsuit challenging the president’s executive order that threatens vote-by-mail.

The Constitution gives states – not the president – the authority to run elections. Voting by mail is safe, secure, and trusted by Oregonians across the political spectrum for decades. #orpol

"Stable housing is the foundation everything else is built on – work, health, recovery, and family. The people this program serves fought their way out of homelessness. They were rebuilding their lives. HUD’s restrictions would have taken that away, and today’s ruling stopped that from happening."

We just won a court ruling protecting about $39 million to help Oregonians stay in stable housing, and lower their risk of returning to homelessness.

AG Rayfield demands that Kroger repay Oregon taxpayers for failed grocery merger attempt

AG Rayfield demands that Kroger repay Oregon taxpayers for failed grocery merger attempt

“When federal enforcers step back, states step up,” said Attorney General Rayfield. “Recovering attorneys’ fees is one way Oregon can sustain that work – making it clear to corporations that when they push deals that harm consumers, they will be held accountable, and Oregon taxpayers won’t be left to foot the bill.”

AG Rayfield is taking action to get back more than $2.25 million in legal fees from Kroger — so Oregon taxpayers don’t have to foot the bill. Oregon DOJ successfully blocked the proposed $25 billion Kroger/Albertsons merger, which would have raised grocery prices and lowered wages for working families. Because the court sided with us, Oregon is entitled to have Kroger cover our attorneys’ fees and costs.

“Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on whether a president can simply decide – by executive order, on his first day in office – to strip citizenship from children born on American soil. The answer, as court after court has found, is no.”

“Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on whether a president can simply decide – by executive order, on his first day in office – to strip citizenship from children born on American soil. The answer, as court after court has found, is no.”

“Oregon joined this fight because we believe in the rule of law –and because we know who this order actually harms. It’s children growing up in our communities. Children attending our schools. Children who are, by every measure of our Constitution and our history, Americans. The president does not get to rewrite the Constitution by executive order. We are confident the Court will agree.”

Portland officials have been using this monumental code name to discuss Trail Blazers arena project The name reflects the scale and significance of the Moda Center to Portland, a city spokesperson said, as officials work to finalize public funding.

Our leaders have been scheming to bilk millions from us for the last 6 months. They called it "Project Mt Hood" but I suggest we rename it "Project Mt St. Helens" and we blow it the fuck up.
